Our illustrated books for children

From the legends and most beautiful tales of the World I have chosen twenty-four stories that only speak of love, happiness, friendship, faithfulness, compassion, understanding, goodness, faith and true values. I have heard these stories from people who are special to me, people who love story-telling, and so I feel with all my heart, it is my responsibility to retell them as I have heard them, just like our ancestors did. The collection can also serve as an Advent calendar and an opportunity for peaceful and intimate family time during the days leading up to Christmas.

'Who Will Be My Friend?' is a story about friendship, aimed at children approximately three to eight years of age. It features a  Baby Bunny who is lonely and is looking for a friend to play with.  Although the bunny meets lots of other animals, because of their differences, they give him reasons why they can't become his friend.  Finally however, Baby Bunny does succeed and finds a friend to p…

A new single author collection out now

A new book out now! In this internationally-acclaimed collection of contemporary literary fiction stories by Paul Williams we are invited to appreciate what it means to master the art of losing – to let go of things both big and small – whether it be dreams, or love, or houses, or whole continents. Told with wit, humour and pathos, the stories reveal the unexpected narratives that often flow beneath the surface of contemporary lives.

The twenty stories lurch from continent to continent across Australia, Europe and South Africa, from child to teen to adult, from past to present, from war to peace, from me to you.

Kaleem has found his father and soon finds the love of his life, Rozia Laurence, but he is still not comfortable with his role as Peace Child. He also has to face some of the less palatable truths about his home planet: it is blighted by the existence of the Z Zone, a place where poorer people live outside of society, and by switch-off, compulsory euthanasia for a healthy but aging population, including his mentor, Razjosh.

Em tries to avoid the annoying clones – the girls in her year at Philiton Comprehensive who spend all their time thinking about clothes, make-up and boys. She worries about her aging grandparents and her older brother Ollie, who seems to be behaving in a distinctly odd way.

Then three new people come into her life.

We've all made a wish we've regretted, but what if you've asked a…
